I was going for a nice evening stroll and came across this meow cat cafe beautiful cats were looking out of the store front and ofcourse my passion for cats I had to stop in. Walking into the cafe i was instantly welcomed by many different cats me being a cat lover I started to pet them, the lady who works there says to me "BUY DRINK BUY DRINK" like lady chill, I was planning on doing that already I just walked in! I ordered two ice coffees and contuined my way around her store and just falling in love with all these cats this place is puuuurrrrfect for cats they have so much toys to play with, many cat houses and things that cats can climb/jump on they are diffently living happy and that makes me happy to see, for this reason the cats gave you the 4 star.
I would suggest to anyone who is planning on stopping by to quickly go and order your drink before touching her cats looool. I read alot of reviews saying the lady doesn't want you to touch her cats? Or she tells you how to properly touch her cats? Or watches while you interact with the cats? She hasn't done that to me on my visit I actually played with her cats pet them the entire time I was there, I stayed for a full hour.
Overall great experience I had a great time-love supporting cats. -

The one time I went, the owners were very rude to my mother in law and I. They were staring us down the entire time and would repeat the rules incessantly to us even though we weren't doing anything against them.
If you want a barely decent drink and to be talked to rudely and disrespected for 10$ to pet their cats and have them call their kitties to themselves while you're petting them (which is essentially what you're paying for: to spend time with cute kitties) then visit here!
One visit is all it took for my mother and law and I to tell anyone who considered coming here to avoid it -

My boyfriend and I have been here a couple times now and we've always had a great experience.
It's $10 for an hour and includes a drink.
The owners are strict about their cats, but for good reason. The place itself is small and cozy, which is perfect for sitting and enjoying a latte, but not for running around chasing the cats just because you feel entitled to them since you paid an entrance fee.
We watched a lady and her daughter do this the last time we came, and it didn't surprise us at all when the owner started taking notice.
We actually had a good experience with the owner, she took out toys and started playing with the cats in front of us. She obviously has a strong relationship with her cats and it was very sweet to watch.
If you own and know how to handle a cat, as well as respect boundaries, you'll have a great time here. Just be polite and relax. Don't you dare come here thinking it's a zoo. You can't just run around grabbing these people's pets just because you paid $10 and then get pissy when they tell you to stop. Cats are shy wild animals and unpredictable, warnings are for your own safety and protection.
That being said, I wouldn't bring young children here. Even cats who are well socialized hate being around young kids.
As a young couple, it's the perfect place to take a break in the middle of the day and grab a drink. -

A nice little cafe where you get to interact with cats while having a drink and maybe a snack. Grab a drink, and you get to spend some time playing with the cats. Frappes go for $5 before tax, and there are teas/coffees available as well.
You can purchase cat treats for $2, but there are rules that you must follow when getting close to the cats. No hand-to-tongue contact, do not hold them, do not pat them too long or too hard, and use the hand sanitizer provided at the counter.
On the wall near the counter, there's a basket of cat toys which are mostly sticks with strings attached at the end, with various additional attachments along the strings themselves.
We probably came at a good time as most of the cats were busy walking around. There was a smaller white cat that didn't look too friendly at first, but it enjoyed chasing strings and would even grab it in its mouth and drag you over to the back room where some obstacle courses are and sit there meowing until you figure out that it wants to play, but you need to use the string to make it climb up a cat tower and jump across multiple ledges on the wall.
After awhile it became pre-occupied with its own shadow and was no longer interested in the strings, but perhaps it wanted to chase shadows. I certainly had my share of entertainment with the cat.
There was a maine coon sitting on a chair, looking absolutely uninterested. Perhaps it was tired, or it just didn't like people touching it. One girl tried to touch it, and she was scratched. The cat even followed her and tried scratching her feet. Don't mess with cats or they will get you. You can look at it and take pictures and it will ignore you for the most part, but if you get too close without its approval you're asking for a world of hurt.
Now, overall, I enjoyed this cat cafe, despite making several errors that resulted in me getting yelled at by the people running the place. This is the kind of place where if you feel that being a (paying) customer entitles you to do whatever you want, you will likely be asked to leave. If your pride gets in your way I would recommend not coming here. Think of it as a high-security area with cats wandering around rather than a petting zoo and you will probably enjoy it more.
Basically, if you don't follow the rules, and/or the staff don't like you, no cats for you.
Note that some of the people in our group spoke Korean and were engaged in conversation with the staff, so perhaps that allowed me to roam freely without being monitored too closely. -

I think all the negative reviews are caused by improper exceptions.
I visited Meow Cat Cafe for the first time today.
It's not a restaurant with cats. It's their home with drinks.
Come in, take your shoes off, put on the slippers, be gentle and quiet. Respect their home and the cats. Everything else will be fine.
With latte, WiFi, street parking out front and feline companionship, I'll be back often.
